Piggydb V3.7 released

This release adds two features: Fragment Bookmark and Related Tags.

A fragment can be bookmarked by using the special "bookmark" tag; a (star icon) button has been added to the top-right corner of each fragment for convenience.

Bookmarked fragments are shown in the navigation sidebar.

"Related Tags" are all additional tags which classify a displayed (searched) fragment. A Related Tags view has been added to the sidebars of the Tag and Filter pages.

When you click on the "Plus" button next to a related tag, the selected fragments are filtered with the new set of tags, allowing you to "drill down" to pinpoint the required fragment(s).

Piggydb V3.4 released

This release adds support for two special tags: "pre" and "code".

If a knowledge fragment is tagged with "pre", it will be displayed "as is" and no further formatting will be applied to it (similar to HTML <pre>..</pre> mark-up).

The "code" tag adds syntax highlighting using google-code-prettify.

You can optionally specify the language with a "lang-<language name>" tag, for more detail, see the google-code-prettify document.

If you create the tag relation "pre -> code" beforehand, you will only need to classify a fragment as "code" to enable syntax highlighting of its content.

Piggydb V3.0 is now available!

I'm pleased to announce the release of Piggydb V3.0.

This is a major update with two important features: File Fragment and Fragment Embedding.

File Fragment enables you to attach any file as a knowledge fragment, so you can manage your files in exactly the same way as text fragments.

Fragment Embedding enables you to embed the content of a fragment inside another; there is no limit to the number of levels of nesting, allowing you to create more complex, rich fragments.
